Let’s check them out:
Pencil and Paper Games:
Pencil and paper games are supposed to be one of the most entertaining games for your children. Once occupied with this type of game, your kid is most likely to forget video games and TV. To play the game, you need to take a pencil, a paper, and a little effort.
Now, draw a grid with some small squares. On the left corner side, put a word starting with a letter of your choice, e.g., Nysa. Now, put some categories across the top like names of animals, colors, cars, places, games, etc. players need to fill up the categories with the letter on the left column. This type of games can contribute to a great extent to make your baby smarter.
Puzzles are considered to be one of the most popular games all around the world. It makes the children use their brain and think positive. You can buy puzzles from the nearby toy shop or can try my technique. Sometimes I draw a big picture on a hard paper, Bristol board or Cardboard.
Then I use a marker to outline the puzzle pieces directly on the drawing. Now, it is time to cut down the pieces, mix them together, and the puzzles are now ready! My son loves this game and exclaims with joy when he finishes solving the puzzle accordingly.
Paper Bag Skits:
Paper bag skits is suitable for a larger group of children. When your children meet their cousins and have nothing to do but playing video games, you can make them occupied with this game. Divide the children into some groups. Each group may contain two to three kids.
Give every group a paper bag that may contain toys, jewelry, ball, ribbon, spoon, socks and many more. Then allow them 15-20 minutes to build a skit around all these props. It is a fun game as well as helps your children to be competitive, co-operative and helping. They get to learn how to work in a friendly environment, share ideas, and co-operate each other as well.
Balance beam is a very popular game among children. We understand how much kids love walking in straight lines. They are often seen occupied with this game whenever they get chance. You can make your own balance beam by attaching tape.
Play some music and tell your child to take a turn walking one foot over the other in a straight line. It is an excellent way to teach balance to your children at an early stage of life. However, do not let your children walk backward, it may invite dangers sometimes.
Every kid loves to find the missing object that’s why treasure hunt stands as a favorite game. Hide the kid’s toys and leave some clues on papers. The first clue must be easy to find.
Then each clue will leave a hint to find the next clue, and at the end, the child will find the hidden object. You may place some coins too as the hidden object so that your little one can gather them to put in the piggy bank. This game will make your kids way smarter, trust me!
The Listening Game:
This is one of my daughter’s favorite games. To play the game, you need to take some miscellaneous things. Now, get your child familiar with each object, and then take them away from them. When you are done, ask your child to close his or her eyes and pick items one by one and make sounds with it.
Your child needs to guess what it is that made the particular sound. It is a super useful and creative game. Simultaneously, it can improve your kids’ auditory sense as well.
