Trying to figure out how to look young without surgery or other medical interventions? It’s actually easier than you think.

I recently received an email chain from a relative. The email was titled “How To Look Young.” Although I usually don’t get so excited over group emails like these, I decided to take a look.

After reading the email, I actually was pretty impressed. Everything was so true and simple. I usually don’t post things like this, but this an exception.

I decided to share it with you as well:

 

The Email: How To Stay Young Without Surgery


 

  1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay “them.”

  2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

  3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever.. Never let the brain idle. “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.” And the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s.

  4. Enjoy the simple things.

5.. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

  1. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

  2. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

  3. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

  4. Don’t take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

  5. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

And if you don’t send this to at least 8 people – who cares?

But do share this with someone. We all need to live life to its fullest each day!!

Worry about nothing, pray about everything!

 

 

My Thoughts


I think the email speaks for itself. When a person really is serious about following these steps, it really leads to results. A person can really live the most optimum lifestyle no matter what their situation is.

And anyone can do it consistently with a peace of mind and clarity.

Sometimes, instead of running to the meds or even a remedy, we just need to take an honest look at ourselves and figure out where we are in life. And what we can do about it.

    The things you talk about are really relevant to me as we have lost some friends and family recently and it has inspired me to live my life to the fullest and stop living every day in the same boring way.

  • I agree with you; I believe that life has to lived in a quiet way without worrying about the problems we face each day, we have to live one day at a time. Problems are aging and deteriorating our body and our mind; we have to learn to release our burdens to live better. Do you think that meditation helps us to live a few more years?
