There are various causes of headaches such as certain foods and allergic reactions to certain food ingredients, spices, alcohol, red wine, poor posture, caffeine withdrawal, weather changes, changes to or lack of sleep, hunger, fatigue and stress.

There are several types of headaches that include tension headaches, migraines, cluster headaches and migraine with auras.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that “Half to three quarters of adults aged 18–65 years in the world have had headache in the last year and, among those individuals, 30% or more have reported migraine. Headaches on 15 or more days every month affects 1.7–4% of the world’s adult population.”

Constant Headaches

The Mayor Clinic reported that tension headaches are the most constant of headache disorders. Ironically, it is not the brain that causes tension headaches. Rather, it is nerves in the neck and head that contract and tighten causing pain. In migraines, the cause is sensitive nerves in the brain that inflict pain.

Improve Circulation

Now that you know the causes of headaches, it is easier to avert this disorder without medication and through the use of homeopathy. This depends on the severity and medical diagnoses of the cause of headaches.

Given the fact that tension is the cause of most constant headaches, there are several ways to improve circulation of blood vessels in the neck and head. The first is the most obvious: exercise. One of the frequently suggested forms of exercise to improve circulation for constant headaches is aerobics. Aerobic exercise releases oxygen to the body and in doing so, relieves pain.

Jogging is another form of exercise that helps increase oxygen to the heart, lungs and brain, thereby improving overall physical circulation. While exercise may not be a desired remedy for headache sufferers, it is well known that exercise has numerous health benefits even for those who are somewhat adverse to energetic forms of exercise. For these individuals, there is yoga.

Relaxation

Yoga allows headache sufferers to indulge in exercise that is relaxing, meditative and relieves constant headache pain through rhythmic movement at a slow pace. Not to mention that, of itself, exercise in any form is a mental distraction methodology known to lessen headache pain.

Other remedies for improved circulation include the use of an infrared sauna treatment of 30 minutes on a daily basis. Headaches sufferers find infrared heat relieves pain.

The link between constant headaches, tension and other causes of common headaches and improved circulation is the use of a homeopathic remedy that allows headache sufferers to avoid unnecessary drugs.
