Homeopathy Research

The following article is one of many research studies published on this website.

All published studies on this site, whether conducted by medical doctors, homeopaths, and/or researchers of both spectrums, are intended to demonstrate unbiased, clinically valid studies examining the effectiveness of Homeopathy and its respective remedies.

Sources are provided for each study for the reader’s own benefit and interest in his or her investigation of Homeopathy’s efficacy in treating today’s wide variety of mental, emotional, and physical symptoms [which I highly encourage, both for supporters and skeptics of Homeopathy].

I ask that if you notice any deficiency whatsoever in the publishing of these studies on this website to please notify me via email:

That way, honesty and integrity can be ensured

Research Proves Homeopathy’s Effectiveness  Against Diarrhea

In 1994, 2000, and 2003, physicians from the University of Washington & University of Guadalajara tested the use of homeopathic treatments for diarrhea on 81 Nicaraguan children, aged between 6 months to 5 years old.

Every child in the study had previously received hydrating fluids to combat their diarrhea conditions. Keep in mind that diarrhea can cause dehydration in children, and it is known to be one of the most critical health issues facing Third World countries today. As a matter of fact, the World Health Organization considers diarrhea to be the leading public health danger today as it causes the deaths of 3 million children per year, especially when it leads to dehydration.

The study itself was performed randomly, double-blinded, and was controlled with placebos in order to ensure fair, unbiased results.

After administering a homeopathic remedy to one group of children and a placebo to the other group, the study found that children treated with a homeopathic remedy healed 20% quicker from their diarrhea symptoms than their placebo counterparts.

Now that you’ve seen the research, feel free to check out the homeopathic remedies themselves!
