We are what we eat, right? Who knew that when your parents made you eat your fruits and veggies, they were actually showing you how to get glowing skin naturally?

Nutrient-rich fruits and veggies can add to a healthy, glowing complexion.

Add as much color and variety to every meal you eat.

The best-kept secrets for beauty are right in your grocery store.

Sun damage? Eat more tomatoes and watermelon, they contain a lot of Lycopene.

Oily skin? Fish and flax seed are now your best friend, since they contain omega-3 fatty acids that regulate oil production.

Wrinkles got ya down? Get a healthy dose of sweet potatoes an citrus fruits. They contain vitamin C that helps fight wrinkles.

The bottom line is, if you want radiant skin, the right nutrition will help!

Add plenty of these fruits and vegetables to our meals to get the skin-nourishing vitamins and nutrients your body needs for a healthy glow.

  • Ahh… “sweet & salty” foods… my weakness. You know, I struggled with a lot of acne, ad skin irritations as a teenager… and now I am almost 25 years old, and I still get very bad breakouts! I look at a lot of other people my age, and they seem to have outgrown these issues – so I am sitting here wondering why I haven’t also.

But, it makes a lot of sense, that if perhaps I start feeding my body more nutrient foods… then that might helps solve my face breakout problems. :/ I do also have oily skin, which maybe causes breakouts as well… but I didn’t know eating fish prevented that – I love fish!

  • What a great way to convey a really simple, but important message – Eat Healthy / Look Healthy. This information was great. I didn’t realise that my skin knew so much about what I was putting into my tummy! This article helped open my eyes. Thank you for that. I am off to eat some watermelon now!
