Wisdom Tooth Pain Remedy

Looking for an extremely safe and effective wisdom tooth pain remedy? Then thank goodness that you found this article right now!

Let me cut to the chase: the number one remedy to use for wisdom teeth removals, whether taken before or after getting your wisdom tooth taken out, is homeopathic Arnica montana.

Of course, there are many other remedies as well to consider. But Arnica is always the first remedy to go to and tends to work most of the time.

Like with all other types of injuries, pains, bruising, and the like, Arnica should be the first remedy to think of for these types of acute situations. In pre and post surgical procedures, it’s the main remedy to use right away.

Even in hospitals, both in medical settings and in clinical research settings, Arnica has even been recommended by many doctors to use before or after any operation, as it’s quick healing mechanisms have astounded all.

How To Take Arnica Correctly

Taking homeopathic Arnica is no different than taking any other homeopathic remedy.wisdom tooth pain remedy

This is how you should take it before removing your wisdom teeth. Here’s how it works:

  1. Take 1 Arnica 30C pellet (200C should also be fine and in more severe cases may even be more preferred).
  2. Place the sugar pellet under your tongue.
  3. Let it dissolve completely.
  4. Do not eat, drink, or brush your teeth for 30 minutes after taking the remedy.

See this post for more details and a video demonstration on how to properly take homeopathic remedies. It really helps a lot!

After the procedure, you should take 1 more Arnica pellet to promote further and easier healing.

My Own Experience With Arnica

I had my first two wisdom teeth removed on September 8, 2016.

Even this doctor asks his patients if they use homeopathic medicines….just a side note.

Before getting it removed, I was extremely nervous. Despite the fact that I had a painless baby tooth removal when I was 12 years old, I was still pretty nervous about this operation,

This was especially so since every single person I spoke to that had their wisdom teeth removed experienced horrible, tormenting, and excruciating pains and swellings.

One person even told me that he contemplated suicide from all of the “torture.”

Not wanting to go through that kind of “hell on Earth,” I decided to bring an Arnica 30C with me on the way to the doctor. I actually wanted to take a 200C with me, but since that wasn’t available, I was left with no choice but the 30C potency.

Right before I left my car, I popped an Arnica pellet under my tongue, and I let it dissolve as I was parking my car.

To make a long story short, I went through the procedure, using novocaine and laughing gas (and loads of it!). I did not experience any pain during the procedure and not after…AT ALL!

The only issue I experienced was discomfort with the stitches placed on both wisdom teeth areas that were taken out.

After The Procedure

Even after the numbness from the novocaine wore off my mouth, I still did not experience any pain

whatsoever, besides for the discomfort from the stitches. I also took another Arnica right after my procedure to promote more healing in my mouth,

Whenever I felt that the discomfort was really bothering me, I simply took another Arnica 30C, and it would tremendously ease the discomfort. This happened about once or twice while I was recovering.

It should be noted that I was still taking antibiotics as prescribed from by my doctor who did the procedure.

But interestingly, most people that went through my situation still experienced tremendous pain after their wisdom tooth removals, even to the point where they had to resort to percocets in order to treat the pain.

Thank goodness, I never needed to take even one!

Arnica: The Ultimate & Best Wisdom Tooth Pain Remedy

In short, if you are serious about avoiding any intense pain and swelling, you should do the following 2 things on the day of you’re getting your wisdom teeth taken out:

  1. Take 1 Arnica pellet before the procedure.
  2. Take 1 Arnica pellet after the procedure.

It’s as simple as that. When it comes to potency, it is best to use either a 200C or 1M, especially if there is severe pain involved. But again, I used a 30C potency before and after the operation, and I was completely fine.

  1. It seems like we all know someone who can tell us horror stories of the pain caused to them by their wisdom teeth, both before and after the removal of the teeth. Dentists know the pain is real since they prescribe narcotics to their patients! I am very glad that I know about Arnica now, for myself and for others. Can you tell me what exactly is Arnica? I am now interested in knowing more about Arnica. What other uses are there for Arnica?

  2. I have always said that there is nothing worse than toothache. That is the worst feeling and I don’t wish it on anyone. I was up all night with pain and that was very painful and tiring.

This remedy seems like a great relief for people. Can you use it for other types of toothache? I have already had my wisdom teeth out. I don’t often get any toothache but when I do it would be great to know that I can rely on this until I can get the problem fixed.

    1. In general for any type of pain or injury, you can definitely use Arnica. Of course, Arnica is not the only remedy as there are numerous homeopathic (and other natural) remedies out there that can be useful, depending on the person.
